Challenge Highlight - Wood Input Requirements

Many pellet mills and briquette mills have been built using 'Sawmill Residue'. The current depression in the lumber markets (both softwood and hardwood) have caused many pellet mills to encounter a shortage in mill residues that can affect their ability to provide for their existing customers. Alternatively, some of our customers are finding that they now need to be ready to 'blend' mixtures of species in their pellets that they were not required to previously. All of this is due to a rise in pelletizing and briquetting while the traditional residue sources are experiencing a sharp decline. TS Manufacturing can help.
